Hello there!
I hope this email finds you all well, happy and warm. I've been sort of hibernating this month working on a variety of things including sleeping, eating, watching Parks And Recreation and making a few music videos, etc. But now I'm rested and ready to once again hit the road for some music making and adventures. Here's what's going on...
TOUR WITH RACHEL PLATTEN AND MATT NATHANSON
This February and March I'll be back on the road playing a bunch of shows with my dear friend and beautiful musician, Rachel Platten. Rachel is opening for Matt Nathanson and I will be singing and playing bass, synth bass, guitar, uke, and whatever else I can find in her band. In between Matt Nathanson appearances, she and I will be playing our own shows where I will be doing a full set of my own music. I'm so ecstatic that she asked me to join her on this tour and have taken this opportunity to work out some new arrangements and add some new (and old) songs to my set. Craig "happiest drummer on Earth" Meyer will be with us, and it's going to be a fantastic time. NEW INGRID MICHAELSON RECORD + TOUR
Many of you know that I play guitar and sing back up for Ingrid Michaelson. For those of who didn't know, now you do! I haven't been doing much playing with her his past year because she has been working on an amazing new record which was released YESTERDAY! It's called Human Again and it immediately shot to #1 on the iTunes sales chart!! You can go pick up a copy of it HERE. I sang on a few songs and am SO excited to be joining her once again for her Human Again tour starting in April. Date can be found HERE.
By the time you get this, Ingrid will have performed her new single, "Ghost," on LIVE! with Kelly this morning and me, along with Allie Moss, Katie Costello and Misty Boyce, joined her for backing vocals. Follow me on Twitter and if the video gets posted I'll be sure to let you know!

Hello and happy December!
I hope you're doing well! I just got back from my tour in the UK, which was amazing. I played some fantastic shows, met some amazing people, rode a horse, ate fish and chips, etc etc. Overall it was a great success!
Now I'm back home and working on a new project called "Stay home in my pajamas and watch 30 Rock." So far, so good. I'll keep you posted.
But even as things slow down for the holidays, I still have some news. So here we go...
1. DECEMBER SHOWS IN DC, PHILADELPHIA , ASBURY PARK AND BROOKLYN!
12/16-12/18 I'm excited to be doing a few shows with my exceptionally talented friend, Charlene Kaye. We'll both be accompanying each other on these shows, along with the wonderful Misty Boyce on keys. Misty will also be playing a set of her own music at the NJ show. Details below.
12/30 Brooklyn: I'm playing an NYC Holiday show with two great bands, The Spring Standards and Xylos. I'll have the full rock band with me and may even bust out a holiday song or two. You can get tickets for this one right here! It's gonna be a fun one!

We're bringing a full band with us this time, (from 10/21 on – shows before that will be acoustic) which is very exciting but also kind of expensive. So we've created a website where you can purchase a variety of fun merch bundles including postcards from the road, buttons, posters, and other non-merch goodies like VIP passes and dinner on us. This is a really exciting day for my producer/lawfully-wedded mancake, Chris Kuffner, and I. We enlisted the help of some very talented friends such as Ingrid Michaelson, Allie Moss, Ian Axel, Elliot Jacobson, Adam Christgau, and Saul Simon-MacWilliams and we're so thankful for support it got on Kickstarter and in life by the people we love. Friends! Romans! Countrymen!Today I am releasing my new single, "Anchor," plus a cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs, "In My Life." "Anchor" will be on my upcoming record, Out Of The Ocean, but that won't be out until sometime this fall. So for now, I thought I'd release this little baby EP for your ears. I hope you like it! TOUR!! The Intergalactic Tour of the Universe and Beyond with Allie Moss and Ian Axel begins TOMORROW in Seattle, WA. We will be making our way down the west coast and then later up and down the east coast. Check out the dates and info below and hopefully we will see you at a show! And if you want a chance to come to sound check and get a free poster, we are doing a little advance ticket promo.
